Dorina Zieske Art was formed around 2005 to bring out her passion for fine art. Her paintings are mostly oil, acrylic, mixed media, and silk paintings. Some of her favourite subjects are birds, landscapes, wildflowers, and sunsets.
The motivation behind Dorina’s art is the passion for small things, nature’s beauty, and everyday life. Her journey in art started off in the mid-1990s when she launched a company named Wallworks By Dorina.
Her oil paintings are done combining traditional and water-soluble Liquitex oils. Mixed media arts are done in silk paintings with oil or acrylic. She claims acrylic as her favourite where she combines her favourite methods. She mostly uses golden acrylic open and standard paints. In 2009, she started experimenting with sculpture, and in 2013, she started painting on silk.
