Beutel Goodman, a privately owned, independent Canadian investment manager, recently launched its Long Term Corporate Bond Strategy, available to eligible investors.
The Strategy was developed in response to growing investor interest in dedicated long-duration corporate bond exposure, and builds on Beutel Goodman’s long-standing experience managing corporate credit and long-term fixed-income mandates. Since launch, the Strategy has attracted more than $200 million in institutional inflows.
The Long Term Corporate Bond Strategy seeks to outperform the FTSE Canada Long Term Corporate Bond Index by providing active credit expertise to the long end of the market. The Strategy is designed to benefit investors that need a long duration solution but are looking for value add and risk control. The Strategy maintains a focus on credit quality and allows for a small allocation to non-investment-grade securities aimed to bolster both yield and diversification.
The Strategy complements Beutel Goodman’s existing fixed-income offerings, including the Long Term Bond Strategy and Corporate Bond Strategy, and leverages the firm’s extensive experience managing fixed-income mandates across sectors and term structures.
