In the pandemic of 2020, the wife and husband, Seher and Saad, realized how non-South Asians were not used to the traditional way of making chai. This involved adding a combination of spices and water, tea leaves, and milk. Instead, most people are used to prepackaged tea bags that are readily available everywhere.
At a time when the impact of the Coronavirus stressed the whole world, Saad and Seher wanted to pass on the warmth and comfort that chai gave to the people around them. So, they used the time the lockdown gave them to start something of their own.
By creating an Instagram page and a quick website, Cardamom and Co. was born with the concept of a business specializing in tea, chai, and spice sets.
In the following months, Cardamom & Co. experienced growth beyond their expectations. First, they were suddenly flooded with so many orders that they ran out of stock in time for the holidays. Since then, they have been steadily growing the business.

They strive to be a channel for happiness and connection with their passion for chai and are hopeful that their enthusiasm shows in every facet of the customer interaction with Cardamom & Co.
