What was the inspiration behind creating Park Hill Studios, and how has your personal journey influenced its mission?
Park Hill Studios is a collection of natural light studios and event spaces in Cambridge, designed to provide local creatives with a professional environment to grow their businesses and showcase their work.
Faced with the challenge of having to drive over an hour to Toronto to access professional spaces for photoshoots, events, or installations, Hilary and Tiffany decided to create a solution closer to home. The studios have since become a place where photographers, florists, and other creatives can thrive without the need to travel far to access high-quality resources.
Hilary brings her expertise in floral design to the studio, crafting large-scale installations that serve as dynamic backdrops for photographers and other creatives. Her designs are tailored to spark inspiration and provide visually stunning elements that can be captured without ever needing to leave the area.
Meanwhile, Tiffany uses her background in photography to ensure the studios are not only beautiful but also functional. She meticulously analyses the layouts, lighting, and installations to create spaces that are intuitive for photographers, offering optimal angles and best practices to elevate their work.

How does Park Hill Studios foster collaboration and inclusivity within the creative community in Cambridge? Can you share any success stories or notable impacts?
At Park Hill Studios, fostering collaboration and inclusivity is at the heart of everything we do. Every project we undertake is an opportunity to bring together local talent and provide a platform for creatives to connect, share ideas, and grow. Whether it’s setting up a new installation or hosting a large-scale shoot, we always ensure there’s a seat at the table for our community to be involved.
One recent example is a bridal shoot we hosted, which showcased the incredible talent in our local creative network. For makeup, we collaborated with Stella, known as @starryfacess on Instagram, and Kelsey Gamble (@kelsey._.mua) styled hair. The stunning gowns were provided by The Gown Bridal Boutique (@thegownbridalboutique), and our models were all members of the Cambridge community. They included former national gymnast Heaven Latimer, flight attendant Maria Solina, wedding coordinator Darby Mills alongside her husband, Thomas Millman, and DJ Makayla Cabral.
This project was a testament to how collaboration within our space can bring creative visions to life while fostering a sense of belonging and mutual support among local talent. By prioritizing inclusivity and collaboration, Park Hill Studios continues to strengthen Cambridge’s creative community.
What is Park Hill Education, and how do its workshops and resources equip creatives to advance in their craft?
Park Hill Education is a branch of Park Hill Studios dedicated to offering creative workshops, portfolio-focused retreats, and networking events for local florists, photographers, and other creatives. It was created to provide accessible, high-quality education and a collaborative environment where creatives can grow, develop their skills, and connect with one another.
The idea for Park Hill Education was born out of the founders’ own experiences. Hilary and Tiffany both struggled early in their careers, facing challenges in finding local resources and support. They often had to travel to Toronto for workshops, events, and networking opportunities, recognizing the need for a creative space closer to home. This inspired them to create Park Hill Education: a place where local creatives can access the tools, community, and education they need to thrive, without having to leave the region.
Can you tell us more about the upcoming events and workshops planned for 2025, and what attendees can look forward to?
In 2025, Park Hill Education will enter its second year with an exciting lineup of workshops, portfolio-focused retreats, and networking events designed to help floral designers, photographers, and other creatives advance in their craft. You can view the updated calendar here.
The offerings for the first two quarters will include workshops such as Photography 101 and Photography 102, as well as a two-day Floral x Photography Workshop Retreat. The retreat will feature three different scenes, with budgets ranging from $2K to $8K, allowing participants to capture high-quality images and build their portfolios in a professional, hands-on setting.
Additionally, two large-scale floral installation workshops will take place leading up to the retreat. These workshops are perfect for floral designers looking to create stunning portfolio pieces focused on set installation, event design, and photography. Such opportunities can be difficult to secure without past work to showcase, so these workshops offer an invaluable chance for florists to build their portfolios and gain real-world experience in a creative, professional environment.

When Tiffany and Hilary started in their respective industries, they faced obstacles that often left them feeling isolated and unsure of how to proceed. However, instead of letting those challenges stop them, they turned those experiences into lessons and opportunities for growth.
The key is to keep learning and evolving. There will always be hurdles along the way, but each one is an opportunity to refine your skills, discover new approaches, and ultimately become better at what you do.
