Global Ireland Trade Mission – November 2023

  • The Global Ireland initiative of the Irish government aims for Ireland to double its impact and influence in the world by 2025. An important pillar of this initiative is Ireland’s continued commitment to build a mutually beneficial two-way economic relationship with Canada.
  • As part of this initiative, Dara Calleary, Ireland’s Minister of State for Trade Promotion, Digital and Company Regulation, will lead a trade mission to Canada from November 6-9, centred on the significant business relationship between the two countries.
  • During his visit to Canada, Minister Calleary will host a series of roundtable discussions with Irish companies making a significant impact in the Canadian market, including:
    • Launching an Ireland-Canada Construction Network and meeting with innovative Irish construction companies helping deliver multi-million dollar projects.
    • Unveiling a multi-million dollar deal between Moffett Engineering, an automated storage system provider, and their new customer, YaYa Foods, in Toronto to signal Moffett’s entry into the North American market.
    • Meeting with Enterpryze, a business management platform, who have established a new presence in Canada with plans to rapidly expand their team.
    • Hosting a discussion on Digital Transformation in Government with Diona, who provide solutions to health and human services agencies.
