Good Goods Company: Collaborating Everything Good For The Local Businesses

Good Goods Company began as a unique way for small businesses to reach the rest of the community when a small group of local business owners in the Edmonton area came together.

They recognized that small businesses prioritize building the best possible version of their product and thought about what would become of marketing, merchandising fulfillment, and delivery.

Due to this small business characteristic, they were confronted with acquiring a new skill set in promoting their product and establishing a distribution line, which is more complex than attempting to find the time and energy to do all that.

Good Goods was founded to enable its artists to focus on what they do best by navigating the parts that don’t call for their unique expertise. Good Goods uses their collective momentum to support their growth by connecting businesses with the rest of the community.

The Collective Momentum

Good Goods Company is the first choice for discovering and supporting Canadian small businesses responsibly while promoting community, sustainability and purpose. They are a group of community and sustainability-focused individuals set on breaking down the barriers preventing community members from accessing products made in the community, by the community, and for the community.

Good Goods provide a range of products and services that are great for every occasion, including a healthier breakfast option, a special occasion and when you are looking for that little bit extra.

Good Goods has carefully created a space for people excited to support hyper-local artisanal products and an area for the local artisans to share their products with the community easily and conveniently.

They have carefully curated the most exciting selections available. In addition, they have collaborated with hundreds of local products and have created a delivery system that will take purchases straight to your door.

Sustainability is one of their focuses, and has centralized their packaging and delivery system to reduce their carbon footprint. In addition, they hand-pick and collaborate with purpose-driven and mindful small businesses, supporting responsible and ethical brands raising the bar.

Good Goods makes finding local products and shopping local easy and convenient as the curators continually add more vendors and products. This community-driven initiative connects purpose-driven brands back to the community, building resilience and vibrancy.

Good Goods Company is passionate about creating meaningful change in consumerism and wants to support the communities connecting with mindful brands.

The Good Ps Company

The three good Ps in Good Goods company stands for good products, good practices and good people.

Good Goods Company provides good products that are curated collection that is continually growing and is selected by their team, who are constantly searching for exceptional products from across Canada and testing them against their good standards.

They follow good practices in everything they do, from the products they carry and partnerships they foster to the community events and organizations they support, which connects back to their excellent standards.

They collaborate with good people. As community members, they focus on people,  from each person they interact with, their in-store or online customers and corporate partnerships with retailer buyers and small business owners. Through their team’s education, Good Goods advocates and brings awareness to inclusivity and takes steps to ensure to move forward with equality, representation and diversity in mind.

Co-founding Goodness

Aga Wajda-Plytta and Nina Karpoff co-founded Good Goods Company to ensure that micro-to-small brands focusing on social good meet their market presence and success and help shape communities.

Aga is a leader and builder who emphasizes equity and inclusivity significantly. Her strength is in bringing people together to work toward a shared goal. On the other hand, Nina is a creator and a shaker who focuses on community and aspires to unite people, foster relationships and elevate everyone around.

With Good Goods Gift, people can brighten someone’s house with locally made, environmentally friendly goods by encouraging and supporting local businesses. As a socially responsible company that gives importance to giving back to the community, the company donates its sales proceeds to several nonprofits.

The Future Ahead

Good Goods has established a forum for the community in the Edmonton area to promote local and eco-friendly goods. They plan to expand this initiative to the broader Alberta community. They understand the importance of supporting the Economy of Alberta by keeping the character of their community vibrant.

Through expansion, they collaborate with hyper-local and broader-local communities to bring products and vendors from unseen regions. They also strive to bring goods and vendors to places where people would not otherwise have access to the wide range of talent that Good Goods provides.

To shop locally means supporting each other and helping each other grow and thrive. With this in mind, Good Goods is working to break down barriers and create connections throughout their Alberta community. They are making it easy and convenient to find locals, support locals, and support each other.

Good Goods supports the backbone of businesses, giving them what they need to do what they do best, that is, to create. Through their business-to-consumer and business-to-business platforms, they utilize skills and resources to find innovative ways to reduce product waste, better the environment and build stronger, resilient communities.

Good Goods Company shapes the vibrancy of the community and, in turn, impacts the satisfaction of the lifestyle and generations ahead. For more information, visit their website at https://www.goodgoodsco.ca/
