Hydaway Digital's Realitychek Launches Detect Connectors For Leading AI Assistants, Bringing Deepfake Detection Wherever Users Are

NEW REMOTE CONNECTOR LETS USERS OF AI ASSISTANTS CHECK IMAGES, DOCUMENTS, VIDEO AND AUDIO FOR AI MANIPULATION, WITH OPTIONAL DEEP RESEARCH

Hydaway Digital Corp. (TSXV: HIDE) (OTCQB: HIDDF) (FSE: C88) (“Hydaway” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the release of connectors for DETECT by RealityChek. The connectors let AI assistants, including Claude, ChatGPT and Grok, use RealityChek’s AI detection engine to help their users find synthetic and AI-generated content.

AI assistants have become one of the main ways people search, research and make sense of information online. That same content is now heavily mixed with AI-generated images, manipulated media and deepfakes. The DETECT connectors bring RealityChek’s deepfake detection and content verification tools into these AI systems. A user can share content in a conversation, ask whether it’s real, and get a verdict from RealityChek’s detection platform without switching apps.

The RealityChek connector is a remote server built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the open standard AI assistants use to connect to outside tools. Setup is designed for non-technical users. A user copies one RealityChek server address into their AI assistant’s connector settings, signs in with their existing RealityChek account, and approves a plain-language permission screen. No API keys, configuration files or software installs are needed. Users of AI assistants that require additional setup fields get copy-ready values in their RealityChek dashboard.

Once connected, users can ask their AI assistant to check images, documents, video and audio for signs of AI generation or manipulation. Each check can optionally include RealityChek’s Deep Research layer. Deep Research looks into the content and its claims and returns cited findings and stated limitations separately from the authenticity verdict. Large files can be submitted through a secure RealityChek upload link that continues the pending check automatically. Longer analyses can be tracked and retrieved without starting over.

The connector is available to both consumer and enterprise customers. Personal accounts are connect by default. Enterprise users can choose to authorize their organization’s account, and organization and personal data are kept separate. Customers can see which AI applications are connected from their RealityChek dashboard and disconnect them at any time.

The connector uses RealityChek’s Reality Engine, which combines multiple tuned AI models running on Hydaway’s high-performance GPU compute infrastructure. It joins the Company’s growing AI detection suite, which includes the DETECT web platform, Liveness Detection, Streaming Audio Detection and the RealityChek bot on X.

The RealityChek connector is available now. Setup instructions for Claude, ChatGPT and Grok are in the AI Connectors section of the RealityChek dashboard at detect.realitychek.com. Availability of custom connectors varies by AI assistant and subscription plan.
