Lacoste welcomes global retail & wholesale veteran Jamie Givens as the company’s new CEO, North & Central America, effective immediately. Givens will report to Lacoste’s Global Deputy CEO, Catherine Spindler.
Givens has served as the CEO of Lacoste UK since 2018, focusing on building the UK and Ireland business. Prior to joining Lacoste, Givens was the Digital Director Europe for Levi Strauss & co., and held multiple positions within the brand from 2011-2018.
In his new role, Givens will be responsible for the North and Central Americas region of the U.S., Canada and Mexico, driving the vision and strategy for the Lacoste Brand across multiple B2C and B2B channels with over 2,500 points of distribution. His goal is to create a stronger and more dynamic regional organization, taking the U.S. to the next level of the brand’s evolution with a primary focus on heritage. As the brand heads into their 90th anniversary this year, Givens will help leverage the strengths within the Lacoste brand through regional organization and operations to create big improvements in the brand’s market capabilities.
Givens will also lead North America’s next generation sneaker strategy, in addition to bringing more innovative and sustainable products to market with some amazing activations, while reinforcing Lacoste as the inventor of the world’s most iconic wardrobe staple – the Polo.
Givens is relocating from London to New York City this month with his family, and is excited for this next chapter of his career with Lacoste.

Jamie Givens is CEO, North & Central America, of Lacoste, the iconic French sportswear brand. Jamie started with the brand as the CEO of Lacoste UK & Ireland in 2018, and was appointed the CEO of North & Central America in January 2023. He was previously the Digital Director Europe for Levi Strauss & Co., and held multiple positions within the brand from 2011-2018. Jamie has a strong international apparel background following 6 years in various positions with Dim Brands, managing over 30 different markets from 2005-2011. Jamie has graduated business school at the Institute of Directors in London and Cranfield School of Management in Bedfordshire, England, and recently relocated from London to New York City with his family.
