LGM HUB Passes SOC 2 Type II Examination, Reinforcing Commitment to Data Security

LGM Financial Services announced that its LGM HUB platform has passed a SOC 2 Type II examination, marking a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to information security, governance, and operational resilience. Building on the SOC 2 Type I report received in 2025, the examination provides independent validation that LGM’s controls and processes operate effectively over time.

As cyber threats continue to evolve, organizations face growing expectations to demonstrate how sensitive information is protected. While SOC 2 examinations are not required within the automotive F&I sector, LGM pursued this independent assessment to reinforce transparency, trust, and responsible data stewardship.

By voluntarily undergoing rigorous third-party audits, LGM provides dealers, partners, and customers with confidence that its security practices, operational controls, and governance frameworks align with recognized industry standards.

“At LGM, security is not a one-time project or compliance exercise. It is embedded in how we design, build, and operate technology,” said Scott Rutherford, EVP of Technology. “Completing a SOC 2 Type II examination provides independent assurance that our security and governance controls are operating effectively over time. For our dealer and OEM partners, that confidence matters because they rely on LGM HUB to support critical business processes and customer information.”

“We are proud to see LGM become among the first companies within Marubeni Americas to achieve SOC 2 Type II certification. This accomplishment reflects LGM’s strong commitment to security, governance, and operational excellence. As part of the Marubeni Group, LGM continues to set a high standard for responsible business practices and demonstrates the importance of building resilient organizations prepared for the future,” said Yukinobu Nagami, General Manager of Mobility Business department, Marubeni Corporation

This milestone further strengthens LGM’s position as a trusted technology and finance partner as expectations around security, privacy, and reliability continue to evolve.
