Maskwa Games in collaboration with the Métis National Council, is proud to announce the release of limited-edition Orange T-shirts in its Roblox game, Michif RP. These virtual items are available now in honour of Orange Shirt Day and National Truth and Reconciliation Day, inviting players to engage with Métis culture in a meaningful way.
Two versions of the Orange T-shirt will be available: a free item and a premium version for 100 Robux. All proceeds from the premium shirt will be donated to the Orange Shirt Society, supporting the ongoing work of education, reconciliation, and cultural preservation.
“This initiative is about more than just a Roblox game,” said Josh Nilson, Founder of Maskwa Games. “It’s about bringing awareness to Orange Shirt Day while giving players an opportunity to learn and honour Métis traditions in an engaging way.”
Michif RP is an immersive Roblox experience where players can explore traditional Métis foods, clothing, fiddle music, and learn the Michif language through interactive gameplay. The game was designed to both celebrate and preserve Métis heritage, while fostering understanding among broader audiences.
