Too often, women are placed in professional silos based on stereotypical gender roles. To #BreakTheBias, society needs to come together and lift women up for their accomplishments without an underlying tone of surprise. For over a decade, I’ve worked in the interior design industry and also mastered skills in building and renovation. I’ve always been passionate about the business of home, yet it often surprises people that I can lead an entire re-build. Across industries, there is an opportunity to mend distorted notions of what women are capable of… we can do anything we put our mind to!

Ali Budd is the President and Creative Director of Ali Budd Interiors, an award-winning Toronto-based boutique design firm. The firm specializes in luxe residential design projects across North America with highly acclaimed projects in Toronto, New York, Florida, and Washington D.C.

After graduating from The International Academy of Design in Toronto in 2006, Ali honed her skills at large architectural/interior firms and boutique studios before opening Ali Budd Interiors in 2010.
