Miik is a Canadian fashion company that prides itself on using sustainable materials. It is completely woman-owned and run, and based right in Toronto!. All their fabrics are custom-milled and dyed, and each garment is cut and sewn locally in the Toronto area. Miik uses sustainable fabrics, ethical manufacturing practices, durable materials, and a less-is-more philosophy to lessen their environmental impact. All their pieces are incredibly durable and won’t fade, pill or lose their shape — wash after wash. Their buttery soft and stretchy collections are the epitome of fashion for everyday wear, from leggings to fitted blazers. In April 2020, Miik started organizing live online shopping events where the Miik team modelled new looks on people of different sizes and body types. Their shows continue to grow in attendance with each live event, and currently reach over 1500 live audience members at each show. Go to www.miik.ca/live to see Miik’s upcoming live show schedule.
