International Women’s Day is an opportunity to recognize progress and to look ahead at how we can continue driving meaningful change together. This year’s theme, Give to Gain, resonates strongly with me because it embodies what I’ve seen firsthand throughout my career at Lenovo. Growth happens when we give generously and support each other.
Working with women‑owned small businesses and partners, I’ve learned that success is never achieved alone. The women who inspire me most are those who share openly, lift others up, and intentionally create space for more voices at the table. In my own journey at Lenovo, allies also play an important role in listening, advocating and helping to remove barriers so that everyone can succeed. Together that generosity creates momentum that benefits us all.
The spirit of Give to Gain is reflected in Lenovo’s Evolve Small program. This initiative supports small businesses, including many women‑owned ones, through grants, technology, and mentorship. Over the past four years, Lenovo has supported more than 5,000 businesses, donated $3.6 million, and delivered over 750 hours of mentorship.
My hope this International Women’s Day is simple: give boldly. Share your voice, your experience, and your support. When women are supported by women and allies alike, we all gain, and move toward a more inclusive future together.
