A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.
John C. Maxwell
A leader of a company is the one on whom the entire organization takes the lead. Therefore, their words, actions, behaviour, character, and attitude define the office’s everyday operations and the business’s future. Hence, the virtues and qualities they possess are decisive.

Integrity is an inevitable virtue of a leader. Being honest about your work and upholding principles in how it is executed qualify you to be one followed by others. They are trustworthy and dependable and work with their principles as foundations. A leader’s qualities are reflected in the branding of the business. Customers are attracted to your business and remain loyal to the brand because of a leader’s integrity because their belief in that individual reflects their confidence in the brand’s quality.
Envision
A leader must be able to foresee the possible changes in the industry in the next few years, create a plan to strategize their development plans for the coming years of business operations and envision a growth map for the company. Their visions for the future are calculative, and they proactively make the required investments and adopt solutions that will enhance operations and benefit the growth of the business.
They are always searching for new opportunities and are open to learning that will help them understand the future with clarity. From the launch of the business, they will have a set of goals that they will accomplish in a strategic and step-by-step manner.
Adapt
A leader can quickly adapt to the changes in the environment, be they positive or negative. They keep an open mind that can easily accept changes, adapt to unprecedented events and adjust to the circumstances quickly. In the face of a challenge, they dont get stuck but find a possible solution to resolve the issue. They consider such events as learning points to help them grow personally and professionally.
In times of crisis, the adaptability of a leader helps the employees deal with the situation in a composed way without disrupting the healthy environment of the workspace. Moreover, their positive handling of issues helps handle routine operations even at times of challenges.

A leader must have keen listening skills where they are open to the opinion of everyone around and take up that constructive criticism that help them grow without getting distracted in the pool of opinion. They must be able to listen to the professional requirements of their colleagues, their personal woes, and the feedback from their partners and clients.
Listening to the stakeholders of the business operations helps them get insights for the better operation of the business. However, they must also listen to the internal voice that helps them think straight, gives them intuition on the next move, and helps them introspect to improve their qualities and attitude.
Recognize
A leader must always recognize the contributions of their colleagues. Recognizing them for the hard work they have put in will give them the motivation to work smart and with commitment in future projects and get involved in business operations with dedication. They will also feel a sense of belonging and visibility in the workspace when recognized.
