Endeavouring On A New Journey

Leora Barak knows that health is our greatest wealth and acknowledges that everyone wants to live a healthy and happy life by trying to heal disease or prevent it.

In 2010, one of her daughters got very ill with gastrointestinal issues, later determined to be Crohn’s disease. She was prescribed several medications, which seemed to create side effects, and she continued to suffer from severe pain. So before switching to more strong medications, Leora decided to explore natural medicine a bit further.

They sought the help of a clinical nutritionist based in New York, and under his guidance and support, she adopted a nutritional protocol into her life. Within a short period, she started improving, and her improved symptoms slowly became more consistent.

Leora was astounded by how simple, everyday foods could significantly impact her daughter’s improvement and realized that the starting point to healing was right in her kitchen. This experience positively impacted her desire to explore a new path and undertake a journey.

Gaining insights from her own experience, she wanted to share this with others. But before getting involved, she needed to learn more and get equipped with all the knowledge she could gather.

She took time off from a full-time career and pursued an intensive program at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. Her education and training gave her a wealth of information on natural nutrition, holistic modalities, and their evidence-based healing properties.

Today, she provides her clients with the understanding to use proper nutrition, appropriate lifestyle changes, and stress-reducing techniques to address health concerns and heal disease.

Formulating Personal Wellness

Leora Barak is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist practicing in Vaughan, Ontario. She graduated with honors from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and is a member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Holistic Nutrition Professionals (CAHN-PRO).

In addition, she is a member of the Foundation for Nutrition and Inflammatory Bowel Diseases in Children (NIBD), which fosters research into nutrition’s clinical significance in managing IBD in children.

She acknowledges that each person is biochemically distinct with unique nutritional and lifestyle needs. Therefore, her integrative approach to health focuses on complementary and customized Nutritional therapy combined with sustainable lifestyle changes.

Leora is particularly interested in healthy and sustainable weight loss, infertility and digestive disorders. She has developed the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Program, which has successfully brought active Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and other inflammatory disorders, into clinical remission. She wholeheartedly believes that nutrition is our strongest weapon and the first line of defense against chronic disease.

The Inflammatory Bowel Disease Program is developed with the understanding that, ultimately, the cells in our bodies are built from the raw materials we eat. Therefore, the more suitable the food choices are to the specific requirements, the better cell structures we can build.

A holistic wellness program is essential in a world where environmental pollution, metal toxicity, micro-organism imbalances, and food sensitivities create severe health issues. For more information, visit the website at https://leorabarak.ca/
