As we mark International Women’s Day 2026, the theme Give to Gain reflects what we see every day at Futurpreneur: when we actively support women entrepreneurs, Canada gains.
Over the past 30 years, Futurpreneur has helped more than 20,000 young entrepreneurs launch, buy and build made-in-Canada businesses that fuel inclusive economic prosperity, with over 40% of them led by women — more than double the national average.
We provide entrepreneurs age 18–39 with mentorship and up to $75,000 in loan financing (with BDC as a co-lending partner), along with access to a national network of experts and peers.
We know capital is critical, and connection is transformative. That’s why, when we built our Women in Entrepreneurship initiative, presented by TD, we placed community at its core. At our workshops and small peer groups, women founders share ideas, build confidence and create supportive networks that last well beyond the program.
Give to Gain reminds us that this kind of collaboration drives progress. When women founders come together, they grow their businesses while helping build a stronger, more inclusive and more resilient Canadian economy for all.
