With a clear focus on SEO, performance, and client satisfaction, Shahzad provides insights on how businesses can make their websites work harder for them in an increasingly competitive digital landscape.
I’m S. Ali, the CEO and Founder of WebFix.com — a digital agency born from curiosity, grit, and a deep desire to improve how people experience the internet. My story in tech began early. At age 10, I was exploring code using DOS, driven purely by curiosity. That passion never left. In 2004, I built my first website, years before I had access to professional tools or training.
But I’ve never been afraid to try and fail. In 2012, I launched my first e-commerce store. It didn’t succeed — but it taught me one of the most important lessons in my life: build value before anything else. So, in 2013, I went all-in on learning. I studied code, design, digital strategy, and, most importantly, how to solve real problems for real people.
In 2014, I completed my first project (even if it was outsourced), and it felt like the beginning of something bigger. By 2015, I had moved to Dubai and taken freelancing more seriously. In 2017, I completed my first solo project and earned my first real income — a small win that meant the world. That same year, I landed a major client, which gave me the confidence to think long-term.
In 2018, I relocated to Canada and started building WebFix. We opened our first offices in 2019, and despite the sudden challenges brought by COVID-19 in 2020, we officially incorporated and kept going. The pandemic forced us to grow as a team and as individuals. We learned to adapt, stay lean, and never lose sight of what matters.
In 2024, we launched WebFix.com with a clear goal: to help people confidently fix, build, and grow their websites.
That goal has now become our mission:
To build, fix, and rank websites that help businesses succeed online.
And our long-term vision is just as bold:
To be the world’s #1 platform for building, fixing, and ranking websites.
These aren’t just statements. They’re lived daily through our work, people, and results. We don’t just build websites — we solve problems, boost businesses, and create long-term impact for our clients.
How does WebFix ensure transparency in its web development process, and what benefits do clients derive from watching live streaming of their website work?
WebFix ensures transparency in its web development process through real-time live streaming of each client’s project. From day one, clients are given secure access to a live feed where they can watch their website being built step-by-step. This isn’t a pre-recorded showcase or occasional update—it’s full, unfiltered access to the actual development process.
This approach removes the traditional “black box” feeling of web development. Clients no longer have to wonder what’s happening behind the scenes or wait weeks for updates. Instead, they witness progress as it unfolds—design layouts taking shape, features being coded, and changes implemented based on their feedback.
The benefits for clients are clear and powerful:
- Trust and Accountability – Watching the work live builds confidence. Clients see exactly where their money is going and that their project is being prioritized.
- Faster Feedback – If something doesn’t look right, clients can flag it instantly. This reduces revisions, speeds up delivery, and ensures the final product matches their vision.
- Education and Empowerment – Clients learn about the development process as they watch. This helps them make smarter decisions and feel more in control of their digital presence.
- No Surprises – With total visibility, there are no unexpected delays or design choices. Everything is clear, upfront, and open for discussion.
In short, WebFix turns a typically hidden process into a shared journey. Live streaming development isn’t just about transparency—it’s about partnership.
You offer a 99.9% satisfaction guarantee. Can you share some strategies or practices that contribute to achieving such a high level of client satisfaction?
WebFix achieves a 99.9% satisfaction rate by combining transparency, speed, and personalized service. Our live-streamed development process keeps clients involved and informed from start to finish, eliminating surprises and building trust.
We assign a dedicated project manager to every client, ensuring clear communication and quick responses. Our team delivers fast turnarounds without sacrificing quality, and every website is custom-built—never based on templates.
Clients also benefit from ongoing support after launch and a feedback-driven approach that allows us to adjust in real time. Paired with a passionate, skilled team, these strategies create an experience that consistently exceeds expectations.
Your pay-per-minute model is unique. How does this pricing strategy benefit small businesses, and what kind of cost savings can they expect?
WebFix’s pay-per-minute model is designed with small businesses in mind—offering flexibility, fairness, and serious cost savings. Instead of paying large upfront fees or being locked into fixed packages, clients only pay for the exact time spent on their project.
This means no wasted budget on unused hours or unnecessary services. Need a quick update or a landing page? You’re only billed for the time it takes. For small businesses with tight budgets, this model offers full control over spending.
On average, our clients save 30–50% compared to traditional agencies—without compromising on quality. It’s simple: pay for what you need, skip what you don’t.
How does WebFix help small businesses improve their website’s SEO and overall performance to drive more traffic and conversions?
WebFix helps small businesses boost SEO and performance by building websites that are fast, optimized, and built to convert. From the start, we focus on clean code, mobile responsiveness, and lightning-fast load times—all of which search engines love.
We also handle on-page SEO essentials like keyword-rich content, meta tags, image optimization, and proper site structure. Every site is built with user experience in mind, making it easy for visitors to navigate, take action, and convert.
The result? Better rankings, more traffic, and higher conversion rates—without the need for a separate SEO agency.
As a seasoned expert in web development and digital solutions, what final advice or insights would you like to share with small and medium-sized businesses looking to enhance their online presence?
