She has also held senior roles at BetaKit, a publication that reports on emerging technology and innovation worldwide, and Sprouter, a social network for entrepreneurs.
She is a journalism graduate and writes a column for the Financial Post. She has written for publications including The Globe and Mail, Business Insider, and Marketing Magazine. In addition, she frequently comments in the press about marketing and entrepreneurship and has appeared in publications including The New York Times, Forbes, CNN, Profit, Inc., and Canadian Business.

She launched Willful along with her husband, Kevin, after one of her family members passed away unexpectedly, and they saw how difficult it was to wrap up someone’s life while grieving.
