Jung-Ah Yi is the creator of EKRJ. She lived in South Korea until 2014 and used to run a jewelry workshop. She moved to Canada when her husband, Mr. Barker, wished to come back to Canada. She didn’t speak English well and didn’t have friends in Canada. She had fears and worries. But realizing that her husband had lived in Korea for 11 years, she decided to live in the country where he was born and raised.
From a very young age, J.Y. has had a love for crafts. She has a bit of stress when she makes something because she is turning her ideas into art. But, after she has completed her work, she feels a sense of accomplishment.
J.Y. knows her happiness lies in the thrill of creative effort. She puts all her effort and passion into every piece of jewelry she makes for every customer.
