Using A Mala And Knowing Its Relation With Intention Meditation
Intentional meditation is one method to use your mala to support yourself. The goal is to create space between your thoughts so that you may connect and reflect, not to get rid of them. During that journey, your Mala can serve as a tactile guide. It’s okay to let your thoughts wander, but if they do, the mala is an excellent tool for bringing them back. When you progress through this practice, let go of judgment and treat yourself with love, grace, and patience.
Comfortable seating along with holding your mala and moving it up for 108 times while continuing to meditate is one way of doing it. If you don’t yet have an intention simply follow your breath while counting the beads in the Mala.
Enjoy 75 Minutes of Pure Bliss With Guided Yin Yoga Class
In Laura Lotus Love’s yin yoga classes, practitioners learn how to slow down, surrender, and delve deep into their practice. Unlike more dynamic forms of yoga, yin yoga focuses on holding poses for an extended period, typically ranging from one to five minutes or even longer. These poses, often seated or reclined, target the deeper connective tissues, such as ligaments, tendons, and fascia, rather than the muscles. By holding these passive poses for an extended duration, practitioners have the opportunity to release tension, improve flexibility, and cultivate mindfulness.
The atmosphere in a yin yoga class is often serene and meditative. Yin yoga is not only a physical practice but also a deeply introspective one. As students hold poses for an extended period, they may encounter physical sensations, emotions, or thoughts that arise.
At the end of a yin yoga class, students often experience a profound sense of relaxation and rejuvenation, both physically and mentally. People get ready to carry the benefits of their practice into their daily lives.
