FutureCite empowers people by connecting careers to companies. They strive to build a better world by bridging skill gaps, one gap at a time to future-ready your workforce.
They develop workforce talent by connecting job seekers with employers and educators. Their real-time matching system pairs candidates with careers and courses all at once.
Creating A Career Community Network
FutureCite Inc was first created to recognize people building small businesses and communities behind the scenes. In response to their workforce needs, FutureCite developed a virtual community network to match candidates to courses and careers that bridge skill gaps. This makes it simpler for small business employers and recruiters to discover qualified new hires who can hit the ground running.
Since then, they have grown their talented leadership team to evolve their systems and services. FutureCite caters to the holistic needs of the business community. On their platform,
- Employers post jobs to save time and resources to find prequalified new external hires.
- Educators post courses to gain insights into real-time demand info.
- Jobseekers post profiles (no resumes needed) to simplify career and course matches to upskill / train to gain skills required to be hired.
FutureCite creates a future-ready workforce by bringing together job seekers, employers, and educators in their online community network and connecting applicants to businesses and programs all at once.
They aid job seekers by encouraging them to advance professionally and bridging skill gaps to create new career chances. As a result, employers can post jobs to find qualified candidates to hit the ground running.
Educators can help improve workforce skills and offer courses to bridge gaps for job seekers and employers to upskill and train.
Simplifying the Journey to Job
Eva Mah Borsato is the CEO and founder of FutureCite Inc. First started with chats with college students in classrooms and colleagues in coffee shops, Borsato then expanded to their networks and communities, who wanted to simplify the navigation of career and learning pathways silos.
Through these conversations, she was asked to find a way to bridge their skill gaps so that they could find purposeful work and get hired. FutureCite answered their call by beginning a journey to open new doors to future possibilities and build a next-generation workforce.
Eva is a serial entrepreneur with key industry sector knowledge and experience in digital technology, biotech and health, and architecture and engineering. In addition, she has over 25 years of private sector senior and C-suite leadership experience, from strategic innovation to operational pivots and from small entrepreneurial companies to large multi-national organizations.
As a strategic thinker, she has always had an innate curiosity about the future, particularly the impact of Digital Transformation on communities, companies and cities.
Eva founded FutureCite Inc to build a future for the next generation. She previously served on the boards of the FutureCite 150 Society, the International Women’s Forum Canada, CardioMetabolics Inc., the National Research Council of Canada, the Caritas Health Group, and the Caritas Hospital Foundation, in addition to The Sandbox Charity Project.
