Stephanie, a single mother under 30, made a daring move in March 2020 by opening her first storefront in the picturesque community of Streetsville, Mississauga. This expansion enabled her to serve more tasty sweets and greet clients in person.
The name “Little Rose” honours Stephanie’s family. Roses represent her relationship with her late grandfather, and “Rose” is her daughter’s middle name. Over time, the name has come to reflect more than simply her personal connections; it embodies the sense of belonging and warmth that every visitor feels when they walk through the shop’s characteristic pink door.
Beyond offering wonderfully baked cookies, Little Rose Cookie Co. promotes a strong feeling of community. The company prioritizes inclusion, fair wages, and sustainability, including plant-based choices and eco-friendly packaging. Giving back is also an essential element of their goal. Every month, the company plants 50 trees through One Tree Planted and donates to Food4Kids Mississauga, which helps children in need.
