Jewellery has been her life’s passion for as long as Pamela Lauz can remember. One of her favourite past-times while growing up in Peru was to walk along the beach in search of beautiful seashells and pebbles that she would transform into wearable art. As she grew up, she would spend all her allowance on beads and jewellery supplies.
Pamela Lauz Jewellery studio was opened in early 2008 to craft jewelry to celebrate their clients’ milestones. Pamela had created over a thousand ready-to-wear designs, hundreds of unique wedding rings, and one-of-a-kind pieces. She continues to handcraft all jewellery with loving care in their Leslieville studio, just north of Queen St East in the heart of Toronto.
After completing an Engineering degree at the University of Waterloo, Pamela led a rewarding career in the software industry for ten years.
She took the leap to turn her passion into her new profession by moving to San Francisco to complete the Goldsmithing Program at the Revere Academy of Jewellery Arts. During this time, she also completed the Graduate Gemologist Program at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in Carlsbad, California.
